Welcome to my blog, Gathering Light. I am here to share with you some of the things I discover in this wondrous place we call earth. I know there is joy in suffering, beauty in the broken things, and a message of hope for the sorrowful. Gathering Light is a whimsical name, maybe, but I hope that I can convey that message of hope from the gospel to you in some small ways, and share tidbits of joy and curiosity about the wondrous world we live in.

I am a 30 year old mother, writer, and believer. This blog is a place where I can be my sometimes serious, sometimes weird, sometimes off kilter self, and pass on a little bit of goodness. So welcome, and thanks for stopping by!
